Why does My Garmin Keep Loosing Bluetooth Edited


Problems regarding Bluetooth connectivity can occur very often, but most of the Bluetooth connectivity issues can be resolve by restarting your Garmin device or restarting your smartphone. If your device continues to have an issue, there are few issues from which you can identify your problem and troubleshoot it. Before starting troubleshooting make sure of a few things first:
That you are running an updated version of the Garmin Connect App.
Make sure the Garmin software is up to date.
Install available updates for your phone.
If you are getting issues of Bluetooth connectivity with the Garmin Connect app, you may encounter these issues that are listed below:
·  Unable to connect the Garmin app to sync data.
·  Not receiving any notifications on your device.
·  Widgets like Weather, Calendar on your device are not working.
Following are the steps that you can take to resolve these issues:
·  Make sure to verify that your Bluetooth is enabled and working.
·  Open the Garmin Connect App and select the Menu Option. Now select the Garmin device from the upper right corner of the screen.

Garmin device showing as "Not Connected":
·  Most of the time restarting the Garmin device and your phone may solve the issue.
·  Now open the Garmin Connect app again and navigate back to device settings and status view.
·  Wait for 1-2 minutes to reconnect and show status as "Connected".
Phone and Garmin device again fails to connect after the 1-2 minutes:
·  Remove the Garmin device by selecting three dots menu to the top right corner of the menu.
·  Provide permission to unpair the device.
·  Add device again to Garmin Connect App.
·  Once the device is paired it should be connected to the Garmin App.
Garmin Connect App shows "No Paired devices":
·  Go to add a device.
·  Now select the device model you want to connect.
·  Follow the pairing device instructions carefully.
·  Once the device is paired it should be connected with the Garmin App.
If you continue to experience these types of issues, please make sure if you do not have an updated version of the software, get the Garmin Express Software and connect your device to your computer to update it.
